Sometimes, I Really Miss Living in Paris

Okay, make that a lot of the time. When I get in one of these moods, I like to revisit some of my favorite Parisian interiors.

Starting with my favorite, Christian Lacroix’s:

Loulou de la Falaise’s:

Erin Featherston’s:

Inès de la Fressange’s

(A girlfriend and I saw her once near Place de la Madeleine and she was even more statuesque and fabulous in person.)

Well, I’m not going to Paris this weekend but I am off another trip. For now, let me just say that I’ll be blogging from half way around the world next week. Tune in Monday to see where! Until then!

I want to be living there too!

I might have to take over Erin Featherston's flat!

The funnest thing about a Paris apartment, are the tiny, nearly absent kitchens. No one is eating in.

awww, so jealous that you did live in Paris! I love love love Paris and need to go back stat for vacay.

The curtains in Loulou de la Falaise’s room is amazing. All the rooms are so beautiful. The French really do it right.

I also miss living in Paris on a daily basis. Walks in the Marais, shopping on rue Montorgueil and outdoor cafes. Thanks for posting these inspiring photos of famous Parisien interiors. It makes me miss Paris a little less!

    Oh Ally,

I have to say that I love ALL of them. Parisians dress well and also decorate well. They have such style, don't they ? No wonder you miss it. I'm lucky enough to be able to jump on Eurostar and be in Paris in a matter of a couple of hours…..not trying to make you envious or anything !!!!

Enjoy Atlanta though. We loved Atlanta when we visited. XXXX

Paris is ok – it has become a pastiche unto itself now though – i also think that the grass is greener – maybe because i live in europe and have done so for a long time – i yearn to live a year in Colorado or Phoenix…
