Black And White Bedrooms

I know I’m starting to sound like a broken record with all the black and white but I just have to show you some of the bedrooms I’ve been collecting for a while:

I hope you have some fun planned for your weekend. Hubs and I are hitting the hardware store (again), moving some furniture around, unpacking some more and hopefully, I’ll also get around to organizing my office. Have a good one!

I love the image with the unmade bed, shutters and single black light. Black and white looks great to me so long as it doesn't try to be overtly glam. Add in hot pink and my enthusiasm dwindles.

Good look with office organization and I hope you'll have some photos for us!

LOVE, love the black lace in the first and last shot! Seems like it might be hard to pull off successfully, but where there's a will there's a way :) Have a happy weekend!

I also see some Swedish rooms here!!! I am so going to meet you in Stockholm one of these days – Sweden would love you!, Ally!

Ally, image 4 is stunning. (And 3 and 5). I think a bedroom should be calm and quiet and dust free (yeah, that would be nice!. Books and lots of artwork (both of which I love) I feel belong in other parts of a house.

    Happy weekend, friend! xx Mon

What I particularly LOVE about a black/white bedroom is that you can always throw in fun colored pillows and accessories to bring in color and keep in changing up! We have a gorgeous green duvet cover, but we are so tied to green!

linda: I can't wait to see the big butt chair!

    Appletree: Same here. :)

Mon: I'm dying to go to Stockholm! And to meet you there would be beyond!!! We have to figure out a way to do it one of these days. I'm so serious.

Marija: I'm exactly the same way. Especially these days when I'm unpacking so much crap!

Piper: A can of spray paint could totally do the trick.

While you're hitting the hardware store, I'm trying to figure out if a larger sunburst mirror in the 4th image would totally change the feel of the white/black scheme. I don't know why I do this, but some things are just not worth explaining;-)

    Bon weekend!

All black and white bedrooms look elegant and sexy. If black is too harsh in contrast for you, take a warm dark chocolate or cappuccino brown for additional cushion covers, blanket or curtains. Still elegant, a bit less sexy, but musculin and warm.

I love black and white bedrooms when there are also big splashes of color – like turquoise or orange. And that chandelier in your first image is just gorgeous!

Hi, I am in love with the black lace coverlet in the first picture and have seen it on pinterest before but can’t find it anywhere! Do you have any idea where that can be purchased? Thanks so much in advance!
