Beautiful images, Ally! Red is bold and gorgeous, especially paired with rich grays, like this. I don’t have red in my space, but grew up with a mother who adores red!

Alessandra Branca also said that every room needs a touch of red (and black). I have red walls in my kitchen – love them! It’s so warm and inviting, really the heart of the home.

For years, my signature color was red. My kitchen was red, even the grout between the backsplash tiles was red. But now, my punch of color is orange or pink, but I do still love me some red.

Several years ago red was my go to color, these days I seem to gravitate towards grey, cool blue and punches of yellow or pink. But, boy… does that red pull at my heart strings!

No red in my abode and I miss it at times. Fortunately it’s a popular choice in Michigan as well as Nashville so I get to use it in my designs for others. I favor orange red or that deep blue/red.

It’ll look fabulous with many of the pre-selections that you’ve presented to us for you new home.
