I, like the rest of the world, fell in love with her twin mattress turned custom sofa bed and the pocket door accompanying it!

I also really love the orange and grey color scheme in the bedroom, the leaf print chair and the simple, industrial look of the kitchen.

I tend to think of a lot of pattern as "not me", but I find myself loving these rooms as well! That second picture with the grasscloth, and the black and white is deeply satisfying :-)
And the reds and oranges in the following pictures.. Wow!

That colorful collage in the far wall in the photo with the black-and-white striped curtains... I love all of it! If I invested in a whole new house, I'd want to model it after this one for sure. Gorgeous!

I totally get what you mean! It's nice to know that others feel the same way too, because I thought I was being flaky. The patterns are out there and fun, I just noticed that she kept most of the walls white, except for the living area. I think that all the patterns add texture and warmth and steady the eye.

(Alek, I'll drop u an email)

A very interesting home with much detail. You can see that she uses a lot of care and thought when putting together her space, yet is not overly fussy. It's refreshing and surprising!

I really like how she has kept so many of the original features in place, such as those ultra-cool doors in the first image. It adds character. I'm quite fond of her sense of style...

Great post, Alek ~ I hope you have a great weeks as well :)
