Black Chandeliers

My love for chandeliers is not a big secret, nor is my penchant for black. So it’s only logical that I’m madly in love with these beauties:
And to me, the mother of all black chandeliers is this one at Maison de Baccarat which I wrote about before:
Off the topic but if you go to Paris you must go to the Maison de Baccarat and eat in the Cristal Room. It’s unreal how gorgeous it is. (The food isn’t half bad either.)

I have to admit I’m not huge on the black chandelier thing. Might work in someone else home – like the Domino shot above that just keeps on cropping up everywhere.
Very Hollywood Regency or Deco-with-a-twist. Perfect in a woman’s dressing room or a powder room.

The one in the blue kitchen has long been a favorite. The blue creates such an amazing silhouette. And I love those unique bulbs.

stunning every one! oh and the Maison de Baccarat rooms are featured in one of my design books, i’ve always drooled over that space. would love to go in person, maybe one day :0) happy weekend. we will be eeking out one more “summer” weekend at the beach, talking to the seals, eating sandwiches and breathing the air. enjoy!

Well, you know how much I like black BUT, I’m not so keen on the black chandeliers….I love chandeliers, but not so much the black ones BUT I actually think that the ones that you have shown here look fab-u-lous. XXXX

I think I’d do a lot more cooking if my kitchen looked like the one up top…. or maybe more ordering in and eating in the kitchen… wouldn’t want to mess it up!
