Today’s Crush: Blue & White Striped Linens
I haven’t used any blue in the home in over 10 years. I don’t know why but I just haven’t been that interested in it. Until now.
I’m loving all of this blue and white striped bedding.
I think some blue and white stripes will definitely make its way into the cabin in some form or another!
Do you have any blue in your house?
Also, could you let me know if you’ve been having any problems viewing my blog or if it seems to be loading slower than before? And if so, can you tell me what browser you use? Thanks so much!

This is a 'Snap!' post for me – I have hardly any blue in the house, but I do have a stash of fresh and pretty blue striped bedlinen. Maybe blue is less of a commitment in textiles. (And your site loads well on my IE and Safari browsers)

Hi Alek – I have a navy and white bedroom (see today's post) – I think anything lighter is for children, beachhouses (or cabins!)
By the way YES your website is loading incredibly slowly ie it takes about 10 minutes, Safari is my browser on this computer, it tells me there is a slow script on your website. I have no issues on my other computer which uses IE. Better get those techheads on the job.!!!

I love blue and I love stripes so it's no surprise that I love ticking! I have a few yards of it in the press upstairs waiting for me to get around to using….

Blue & White is an absolute for me. Although lately I've been doing all white in the main bedroom. The blue & white stays in the spare room and various rugs and cushions that I interchange. Love all of this and think it is the perfect fresh look for a cabin. PS I'm having no issue with loading your page [I use IE8]

A few little tears have run down my cheeks looking at this gorgeous post Alek. MOTH proposed marriage only on the promise that I wouldn't have any blue in our house. Just like the wallpaper issue, he has same thing about blue. All to do with that Other Wife. And I so love it, sob, sob.

I've definitely been loving Blues and whites recently. I already have a blue couch and my turquoise bedrooms walls will soon be a BM Polo Blue.

I love the stripes, there's something so basic about them but they look so good!
your blog has been loading a bit slower for me (i use firefox), but it's not too bad.
you don't have blue in your house?! obviously, i like blue a lot. our bedroom is a light blue and it's really calming (and i kind of need all the help in calming down). hehe.

I don't have any blue in my apartment….yet. I do plan to use to use teal or turqouise in my bedroom. I have an ottoman that's in desperate need of reupholstery. It will be done so in teal. It's one of my favorite colors, actually.

I'm def more of a green kinda gal. I have all shades of green. I adore navy though, thinking of painting my kitchen cabinets navy. Hum. What do you think?! I have blue and white chinese pottery in my house and that is about it, and some New Zealand photography which has blue. I also want to have two upholstered dining chairs at the ends of my table, which I might do in a blue/green velvet. So many ideas! I love the casualness of these photos!!

Oh how I love that first picture….I have four bedrooms and three of them have iron beds….I love them…I tend to stick to white bedlinen, but that ticking looks great…I've never been a blue person but it does look lovely…really fresh…I will investigate blue further !!!!! XXXX

I grew up with parents who rarely looked beyond navy blue for fashion and decor, so it look me a LONG time to even consider any blue for myself. Lately though, I have started to accept and even embrace it at times. These stripes are perfect examples of blue done well! (And your page loads fine for me, I've been using Chrome)

I loove blue and white stripes! Fresh and modern without being cold. I'd be happy to add a link to your blog on my blog page, I have a small number of blog links there and love your pictures. I hope you enjoy your Sept Vogue, but if you find it to be too high-end heavy as I did, check out Harper's Bazaar and Lucky, they did a much better job of showcasing affordable fall fashion in my opinion.

My parents have a ton of blue and white in their house…because of that I moved away from it when I got my own place- I was being rebellious by doing green

I'm not a huge blue fan, but I do enjoy these. Also, I was thinking the delicate blue stripe would be lovely on a throw pillow.

I’ve never been a blue person, but lately turquoise, darkest -blue-green, and navy seem so right. And I LOVE old french blue + white ticking. Beautiful photos.
