The Perfect Setting For A Cabin
Happy Monday, everyone. How was your weekend? On Saturday we went to view a cabin that seemed to meet all of my criteria on paper. Well, there was nothing wrong with the house but I so want a setting like these!
Isn’t this gorgeous? The property we saw had a trickle of a creek but I really think I need to hold out for something on a lake or the sound like these.
So, it’s back to the drawing board.

I’ll be back tomorrow hopefully with some shots of the new art wall in our bedroom. (I’ve been so bad about taking pictures around the house!) See you then.

Is that in Sweden?? It looks so not Scandinavian to me! I'm completely in love! That's where I want MY cabin!!
How exciting to be on a cabin hunt! My weekend was great, I bought a new sofa on finn.no (Norway's version of Craigslist) and it's amazing! Mr B was on a fishing trip so my daughter and I spent some quality time together and went to a bbq-party 14 other kids.

Oh I hear you! The outside of a cabin getaway is almost as important as the cabin itself. Maybe even moreso because you can always tear down the cabin and start from scratch.

Dagny: I'm pretty sure it is Sweden. That would only make sense since everything I love seems to be there! Luckily there are places that look like this in the Pacific Northwest so I'm hoping I find my piece of it!
K-Line: That's usually my approach too but 'm trying to be patient this time around. I would hate to find the perfect place after I settle for something(!)
