More Window Seat Love
July 24, 2009 | 44 comments

There seems to be no shortage of fantastic window seats these days and in all different styles. Here are some more to add to the collection:

I really have to get myself one somehow! See what everyone else is into today at the Hooked on Fridays blog party.
And I’d like to thank you all for all of the positive feedback to my Traveling Thursdays feature. It’s something very near and dear to my heart so I really appreciate it!
Have a great weekend, everyone! See you Monday!

I love window seats. I just had my husband build one in the bay window area in our bedroom – nothing as glamorous as these, but I still love it. I don’t even have it covered yet – too indecisive to pick fabric! These pics provide me with plenty of inspiration to get my act together. Have a lovely weekend Alek. Lee

there was a show on TV that i used to watch. it was called the torkelsons and the main chick would sit at her window seat and talk to the “man in the moon”. since then, i have always loved window seats.
ps. is that a striped chair i see?! love it.

As a little girl, a window seat was the one thing I decided that every house, and especially my future house, needed. I stand by that statement today, so thanks for giving them the love they deserve!

I love window seats. I always wanted one. When I was much younger I use to watch the Torkelsons on the disney channel and the main character had one in her room and I was always so jealous because I wanted one. Ok totally long story, but that show is where I get my love of window seats from and I don’t have any in my home.

I dream of having a window seat one day. In our apartment there is a bay window which to me screams for a built in window seat with storage but alas…
I am visiting from Julia’s Hooked on Party. Thanks for sharing!

I wish we had one in our house. Actually, we might put a couple into the little niches in our loft — I’ll have to put some of these pics in my inspiration folder
Thanks for checking out my summer fun post

Hi Alek. I’ve always dreamed of having a window seat one day. As a child I would sit on the kitchen bench and look out the window at the city skyline [not quite a window seat]. Such a great place to dream. Thanks

Love the window seats. The smallest room in our home has one, the nursery. And I wish my room had it.. It really is lovely to sit by the window and read with kids, or watch them with noses pressed up against glass checking out the neigbours.

My parents have a window seat (plain compared to these exquisite window seats) but a window seat nonetheless. I love it… there is nothing better than sitting in the sun, watching the beautiful outdoors all from the comfort of your cozy inside seat! I must have one some day.
