Some white loveliness to start off your week  . . . because I can never get enough of white bedrooms. Never!

And hey, I just moved this mirror over our bed too! I’ll take some photos for you this week.

And thank you all for your nice comments about the new site! If you do see any problems, please give me a shout. It would help me out a lot. Thanks! I also want to point out that you can now follow my blog like in all of the Blogspot/Blogger blogs. Just click on the little box to the right that says “Join this site.” (It uses the term “join” instead of “follow” but it’s the same thing.) And I know it’s totally lame following my own blog but I wanted to get the ball rolling. :”>

Please bear with me this week as I work through all this technical stuff. It’s not my thing at all and I’m ready to be done with it! Merci beaucoup!

Dreamy! One day I will do the all white room… when the kids are out of the house. Maybe I just need a bigger house with one room under lock and key.

Heavy gilding looks so good with white interiors. I love the rod thats across that mirror- what a good idea!

That mirror in the first photo is amazing! I’m really craving a big statement mirror at the moment.
I’m also hopelessly addicted to all white – not always the most practical (I have a dog), but some habits are hard to break…

AHHHH! Love your new home and WHITE is definitely my thing. I feel more creative and less cluttered with lots of white and lots of texture. I am crazy for the mirror in the first photo and the one over your bed. Love it!

    Hey Alek,

I got your email/comment RE: yarn. I knew you had moved the blog over, and I even already changed my RSS feed to capture at the new site. Congrats, it looks fab (as it should).

The yarn was given to me by my mother’s husband, it belonged to his mother and grandmother. It’s been sitting in their attic for at least 15 years. And I guess they were cleaning it out, so now I have it! Def needs some washing/drying to get rid of musty smell, but I’ll worry about that once I’ve actually made something!

All stunning, and sadly unattainable in my home! My cat is like a lint brush — she goes outside, picks up dirt, and then comes inside to deposit it. Argh!
