Hotel On Rivington, New York
I’m going to New York for a long weekend in a couple of weeks and as usual, I’ve been scouting around for a fun place to stay with good design.
The Hotel on Rivington had me at the floor to ceiling windows.

And how much do I love yellow?

I don’t know what these cotton-balls-on-steroids-looking things are but I want to squeeze them:

And check out the tufted black chairs and tulip side table against that silver wallpaper. Lovely.
Yup, this is the one. My room is booked!

It looks like you made a great choice! Have a great trip and thanks for stopping by Avolli and leaving a comment. I hope you will come back soon!

Well that was kind of a no-brainer! ;0)
The windows, oh-my-goodness, THE WINDOWS!
Say hi to NYC for me, would ya. You know, we're the best of pals!
Wow – that hotel looks awesome! It would be amazing to lay in bed and see that view! I'm jealous!

YES!!!!
This is a wonderful hotel but the best part?
The restaurant on the corner of Rivington and Ludow called Inotecca. http://www.inotecanyc.com
It's small plate rustic Italian with antipasti, tramezzini, bruschetti and panini of all kinds. Their sommeliers are great as well. They give you brilliant pairings suggestions.
I'm quite fond of it because I happen to have rented it out for my wedding reception.
Don't forget to close the meal out with an affogato (vanilla ice cream with a shot of espresso pured over it).
Enjoy!!

This looks like a fabulous place to stay. Stylish but not too hotel-y. That yellow bathroom is so sunny! Enjoy your trip!

Phenomenal! Be sure to eat at Otto, order the specialty pizza of the day, and no matter how full you are, order the gelato!
Let me be frank, that fourth picture (the view) would require someone to physically drag me out of the hotel. I'd never leave. I'd order everything via take-out and just ponder life. For weeks.
Have a wonderful trip. Can't wait to hear all about it!

I'd book a high floor corner king…, my husband has to go down to NYC a few times a year…, and some day I'll join…, fall of course is perfect.
