Today’s Crush: Patterned Window Shades

I never considered patterned shades for my house before but I spotted these at Skona Hem today and completely fell for them.

What a great way to introduce a punch of color to a white room, especially when the patterns are as gorgeous as these. Do any of you have patterned shades in your home? This post is part of the Hooked on Houses blog party today. Have a great weekend, everyone!

I was actually looking for patterned shades recently (but then we found some solid colored ones for $5 a piece and couldn't pass them up). these are so cute…i especially like the first pattern. have a very happy weekend.
love them. i bought some plain ones from target and doctored them up with my favorite fabric and some hot glue, and they look pretty great if i do say so!
I don't have patterend roman shades but I have been trying to make it a point to buy curtains with patterns. I had always drifted towards the safe & borring choices beforeThat bathroom is beautiful!
I love patterns so this is right up my alley. Lovely picks and I agree they are a great punch of color for an all white room!
I love those – they're by Josef Frank http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josef_Frank
He's created lots of magical patterns (http://www.svenskttenn.se if you're curious). I wouldn't mind having a blind like one of those.
Have a good weekend!
LOVELY patterned shades… I would soooo love to have a claw footed tub!
hey! i tagged you in a bit of an "activity." don't feel pressured to participate (only if you want to!)
love that tub!
What a great way of adding some color to an all white room!!
Oh, love it! Adds such a vibrant opo of color to those spaces. I especially love the one in the stairway window.
I love these! And I am usually not a pattern person!
it is, indeed! I'm in love with this cupboard http://www.scandinaviandesign.com/shop/national-g… that costs about 4000 dollars… something for your yellow period?
Courtney – What a good idea. I'd love to see the results.:)
Kristina – Thank you so much for those links! That Svenskt Tenn has such beautiful things! I'm swooning over their textiles in particular. As if I didn't love everything Swedish already, now I have another reason!
Just don't fall too much in love with Svenskt tenn, they're excruciatingly expensive…
Kristina – I saw that. Isn't that always the case with the things we fall in love with?
Oh, that's fantastic. You're killing me with all this great design! I want this one: http://www.scandinaviandesign.com/shop/utsikt-309….
