We have a small foyer/entry and because two doors open into it, there’s very little room to put any real furniture. I had looked around for a console or table of some sort but even the smallest ones were always too deep and would have gotten in the way of the doors. I had one of our French benches there but I really wanted something where you could drop your keys when you came in. Well, this weekend, I was about to donate these two carts that I had been using in my studio to hold painting supplies when my brilliant husband said “why don’t you use those in the entry?”

And it was just the perfect solution because 1) I didn’t have to buy another piece of furniture (or spend countless hours looking); 2) they were the perfect depth to fit in that space; 3) it finally gave me a place to use this suzani; and 4) it saved me a trip to Goodwill. I have to figure out what to put on the wall but this is what the foyer looks like today.

Thanks so much for your comment on my blog. I would be very interested in seeing them and finding out the price. Maybe you can post them on your blog – which is divine by the way. I also love your suzani (which I was also wondering what its name was).

Thanks so much for taking time to comment! I read every one and reply through my own comments.
